My name is Harri Huhtala. I’m 46 years old and I have been judging trials soon 10 years (Finland and Sweden). We are living in a small town called Kauhava in the middle part of Finland. In our home area we are hunting mostly in fields pheasants and patridges. We have also lots of forest and gamebirds there are black grouses.
I had my first red irishsetter 1990 after that we have had some more. My wife is hunting also, so at the moment we have 4 red irishsetters. Most successful dog I have had so far was Douedal’s Irwin who became champion in Finland and Norway. With that dog we got many new friends from Scandinavia and because of Irwin we came to know that people are hunting with pointing dog also in Iceland 🙂
I’m really glad about invitation to Iceland and looking forward to see good dogs in beautiful country.
